OUR SALON
Mirakai Hair Salon is Noosa’s newest re-branded salon on the block, with new Director Shey Osborne leading her very talented team of experienced stylists. Mirakai means ‘A palace of peace’ which felt fitting to Shey, being positioned on the beautiful Noosa river, along Gympie terrace. The salon was previously known to clientele, as Surrender Dorothy, an award winning salon established in 2005. Shey embarks on her 4th year with the salon, planning to broaden and embellish the services offered.
Shey and the existing team are a fun, loving natured group, who share passion for things like vidal sassoon, beach blondes, high quality products, organics and aromatherapy. Our walks are all different, and when brought together to create, we hold a high level of care for our clients and our community. Creating natural looking foiling, precision haircutting, bridal looks that steal the show, always maintaining the integrity of the hair.
Its important to us that you feel heard, that your hair is maintained with a high level of care and that every service is carried out with a touch, signature to us. We understand hair and makeup on a well rounded basis, we take pride in our work and in each others achievements.

SHEY
SALON OWNER
Shey completed her training in Toorak, Melbourne. Working along side some of Melbournes finest hairdressers. Shey took her career one step further and trained with Sharon Blain to upgrade her bridal techniques beyond basic training. She went on to become a certified wedding planner and co-ordinator and makeup artist. Shey carried her career all the way to Sorrento, Victoria, where she opened her first hair salon in 2016. Through out Shey’s career she always kept education and creativity, as a necessity in her work.
Shey personally loves micro foiling for blondes, Organic hair care, creating looks to complement and enrich your style. Shey’s old school methods entwined with new market on trend looks, create a wonderful combination of art and high fashion hair.
Shey has worked backstage for GHD, Wedding expos Australia and more, her smile and personality is warm and Shey is always up for an in depth chat. Outside of the salon, Shey spends her time with her 2 beautiful children, friends and family.
LINDA
SALON CO-ORDINATOR
Our bright shining superstar that welcomes you upon arrival, always here to lend a hand and assist the team and clients, in anyway she can. Linda is a retired hairdresser with over 25 years experience, she assists Shey in managing the team, overseeing all our creative work. She is the marrow to our bones.
MADDI
HEAD SENIOR STYLIST
Our fun loving, always Bali dreaming beach babe, who has a personality like no other. Maddi is a talented Senior stylist specialising in precision cutting, curly hair, hair extensions, natural coloring placement and more.
ANAIS
EMERGING STYLIST
Our heart of gold, cultured and graceful goddess, who takes pride in everything she touches. Driven, hair obsessed Anais, blow drys and colours with a caring approach. She takes time to listen and loves to have a laugh.
KELLY
RECEPTIONIST / SALON ASSISTANT
Our pure ray of sunshine, who lights up the salon with her ever oozing laugh and kind heart. Kelly is the beautiful salon assistant we all cherish, she keeps all of us grounded and uplifted. She loves people, story telling and hugs, she has a listening ear and takes pride in all that she assists with.

When you book your appointment, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to our other clientele. In order to be respectful of your fellow clients, please call us, as soon as you know you will not be able to make your appointment.
If cancellation is necessary, we require that you call at least 24 hours in advance. Appointments are in high demand, and your advanced notice will allow another customer access to that appointment time. Thank-you.
